The number of Rohingyas taking refuge in the camp in Cox's Bazar is becoming more violent as time goes on. Controversy is rising due to the conflict between themselves. The displaced people of Myanmar have been involved in various crimes including attacks, conflicts, murders and trivial cases. As a result the locals are increasing concern. These crimes are being done without interrupting their claims, repatriation and transit to Vasanachar.
On February 21, Rohingya beat a local German with 3 journalists in a block of Kutupalong camp in Ukhiyah. Now such incidents are happening in Rohingya camps regularly. There are many crimes involved in various crimes In the case of trivial attacks, clashes, open arms exercises, murders should now be a normal matter.Statistics say 32 people have been killed in Rohingya camps in the last one and a half years in various incidents. 650 people have been accused in 312 cases. The locals claimed that different groups were formed inside the camp. Most of the camps are planned. The purpose of which, to revert to Myanmar and to dissipate the transit process in Vasanachar.
The conscious Mahal says that if the law enforcers do not take immediate steps, the situation will be very serious.
Advocate Amarkur Rahman, general secretary of Cox's Bazar Bachao Andolon, said there are law and order security forces, they have to take quick action or this situation will be a terrible situation which will be very dangerous for us.
However, according to police officials, Rohingyas are becoming violent for various reasons.
Cox's Bazar Police Superintendent ABM Masud Hossain said, unplanned development of different markets. There are differences between their rent and subscriptions.
More than 1.1 million Rohingyas are located in 33 camps in Ukhia and Teknaf of Cox's Bazar. And the local residents of these two upazilas are five lakhs.
