World Cup final team announced

The last few weeks of speculation finally ended. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the final squad for the World Cup. On Tuesday (noon) the 15-member team announced the decision of Chief selector Minhajul Abedin Nannu to captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza.

For the first time, Mosaddek Saikat, Saifuddin, Miraj, Liton and Rahi have taken place in the World Cup squad. Paceman Taskin Ahmed was not included in the squad because of injuries. The selectors have announced the name of Yasser Ali Rabbi and Naeem Hasan as stand-bys outside the squad.
